Wat doe je als CSR Reporting Specialist bij TenneT?

In this position you are responsible for further developing and monitoring of Non-Financial / CSR reporting with a focus on external reporting (e.g. Integrated Annual Report). You will do this at TenneT corporate level, in collaboration with colleagues in the Netherlands and Germany. In your coordinating role you oversee CSR reporting activities widely in the organization and you work in close cooperation with other departments such as Corporate Asset Owner (and the CSR Policy Officer in particular).Communications, Human Resources and Corporate Safety & Security, as well as with internal and external stakeholders. CSR reporting within TenneT is still developing and we have a high ambition in this field: a great challenge for a professional with excellent learning ability and potential.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • CSR Reporting; your are responsible for and driving the continuous development of the Integrated Annual Report based on market developments and related guidelines (GRI standards, IIRC integrated reporting guidelines, UN Sustainable Development Goals, meeting stakeholder demands)
  • Responsible for the CSR content of the Integrated annual report: the materiality analysis, gathering the relevant content in close cooperation with relevant stakeholders, managing text writing and feedback process
  • In close connection to the Integrated Annual Report, responsible for the Annual Green Finance Report and the required additional CSR reporting documents disclosed on the website
  • Managing the feedback process to the CSR rating agencies, like oekom and Sustainalytics
  • Further development of the Non-Financial KPI-reporting process as part of Integrated Reporting. As such a driving role in further improving the quality of these processes, in close cooperation with Risk Management and Internal Control
  • Coordination of the external CSR audit activities
  • CSR reporting communication; you are the point of contact on this theme, both internally and externally (e.g., CSR rating agencies, auditors, transparency benchmark)
  • You follow new CSR reporting trends and identify opportunities to innovate, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • You work in close cooperation with the CSR policy advisor who has a coordinating and advisory role with respect to TenneT CSR
  • You build effective partnerships with external organizations to support CSR reporting

Wat verwachten we van jou?

  • Master degree in a relevant area, like Business Economics, Sustainability
  • Experience with (CSR) reporting and preparation of an annual report
  • Preferably about 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience, for example gained in consultancy or you have a strong affinity with CSR reporting
  • Strong analytical skills and well-developed consulting skills
  • Drive to really understand the business processes behind reporting data.
  • Strong communication skills and be able to discuss at different levels and with various stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • Self-starter, result-oriented and good in coordinating / project management
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English, both in speech and writing; German is a plus

This position is available for 0,8 FTE (32 hours per week)

The Corporate Financial Control department is responsible for Financial Control & Integrated reporting, Risk management & Internal Control, Tax and Insurance.

Financial Control and Integrated Reporting (FCIR) is responsible for Financial and Non-Financial reporting and leading in preparing the Annual Report for TenneT Holding and TenneT the Netherlands as well as the Half-year Report. As such key-activities of the FCIR department are quarterly financial analyses, driving the continuous development in TenneT integrated reporting, accounting policy setting and support in accounting (IFRS) issues, treasury control and primary contact for the external auditor.
